PMK comes out with Tamizh Osai

Lamenting that journalistic ethics had become a thing of the past, DMK president M. Karunanidhi on Thursday called upon newspapers to strive to restore public confidence in them.

Being a journalist himself for over 60 years and penning his articles in the DMK organ, Murasoli, Karunanidhi said that he felt sad about stating the truth about the sorry state of affairs in the media. Newspapers should reflect the views of the people, he said after releasing the Tamil daily, Tamizh Osai launched by the Pongu Tamizh trust of PMK leader Dr S. Ramadoss here.(more...)
