CPI-M welcomes CM's decision

The State unit of the Communist Party of India-Marxists (CPI-M) has urged the State government to take steps to recover the wasteland from those who had encroached upon it and distribute it to landless farmers and Dalits.

Briefing presspersons in Chennai yesterday, CPI State secretary N Varadharajan hailed DMK's election manifesto and welcomed the decision on distribution of two- acre land to the poor farmers and Dalits.(more...)
