PMK seeks mobile task force on polling day

PMK district secretary R Kalidoss has demanded the setting up of a ‘‘mobile police task force’’ for each constituency on the polling day during the coming Assembly elections.

At an all-party meeting convened by District Collector Sathyabratha Sahoo here on Saturday to discuss poll arrangements and the model code of conduct, Kalidoss insisted on the setting up of the force, sources said.(more...)
