DMK cancels land given to IT firms by AIADMK

The Tamil Nadu government Wednesday cancelled land allocated to 70 IT companies by the erstwhile J. Jayalalitha government and said responsibility for the irregularities in the deal will be fixed.

‘Disciplinary action will be taken for irregularities committed in land allotment to various software companies, through a March 1, 2006 government order passed by the AIADMK government,’ an official statement said(more...)
