Ponmudi's charge against Jaya

Accusing the AIADMK of "playing dirty politics", Tamil Nadu minister K Ponmudi today alleged that the party's charge that women members had no protection in the Assembly, was intended to find an excuse for its leader Jayalalithaa to abstain from the House proceedings.

Opposing the no confidence motion against Speaker R Avudaiyaappan, he also alleged that AIADMK under the leadership of Jayalalithaa had a history of "playing dirty politics".(more...)
