Stop enacting dramas: Jaya to CM

AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today denied the 'charges' made in the State Assembly about the death of 22 farmers due to starvation in her regime and said that Chief Minister M Karunanidhi should stop 'enacting dramas'.

In a statement here, Jayalalithaa said the Chief Minister had provoked CPI MLA Sivapunniyam to accuse the previous AIADMK government as the reason for the death of 22 farmers and announce a solatium for their families.(more...)
