Fans frenzy!

Rajnikanth is in catch 22 situation. His legion of fans wants him to take a more active part in Tamilnadu politics and also spell out his preference. The Rajni Rasigar Mandram (RRM) led by secretary M.I.Hymayoon along with others has pledged to give support to AIADMK led DPA.
Rajnikanth is the traditional fence sitter; ideologically he is closer to Hindutva brigade led by BJP and other right wing Hindu organizations. But he is a superstar in a Dravidian stronghold of Tamilnadu and it would be suicidal for him career wise to be identified with any Hindu party(more...)
