DMK stalwarts storm Chennai

DMK stalwarts have once again dominated the list of party nominees for Chennai. Former chief minister M Karunanidhi will contest from Chepauk, while party general secretary K Anbazhagan (Harbour), treasurer Arcot N Veerasami (Anna Nagar), former Mayor M K Stalin (Thousand Lights), former ministers A Rahman Khan (Park Town) and S P Sargunapandian (Royapuram), former deputy speaker of the assembly, Parithi Ilamvazhuthi (Egmore) and actor Napoleon (Mylapore) represent an extremely strong DMK force in the city.(more...)
