INTUC asks Cong leadership to recognise "loyal" leaders in Tamil Nadu
The Tamil Nadu unit of INTUC, labour wing of the Congress, today urged the party leadership to recognise "loyal and committed" leaders from the state at the time of distribution of tickets for the upcoming assembly polls.
In a memorandum to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, N Nanjappan, Vice President of the INTUC in the state, said that there was "strong pressure" on the unit that its "loyalists" should get at least three seats, if not more.(more...)
